In the quiet neighborhood of Ring Road in Jos, Plateau State, there exists a distinct contrast. While the surroundings are beautiful and well-kept, it is unusual to find inhabitants in Anguar.

One striking feature is a magnificent two-story house painted predominantly red with dark brown stripes. The upkeep of the house seems to be a low priority, evident in its disarray.

Upon entering, a surprising sight unfolds—a twelve-year-old girl named Ilham is diligently engaged in laundry. Clad in pants and a shirt, her hair is neatly arranged in four braids. A younger girl, not more than four years old, approaches Ilham, narrating a tale of spilled food and tears.

The narrative describes an unsettling scene within the house, where individuals dressed in red clothes engage in rituals and chants.

A woman covered in blood stands at the forefront, emitting smoke from her mouth. The group seems to be preparing for a significant undertaking, with the eldest among them announcing their return and a new mission involving the search for a woman to marry.
