Her face lit up with a smile, her cheeks flushed with excitement. Many lingered, captivated by her charm and enthusiasm, as she expertly touted the benefits of various fruits, coaxing them into making a purchase.

Intrigued, I, Afrah, resolved to follow this young girl selling vegetables and gather some news for my loved ones.

A man beckoned her inside, and she entered with a smile, indicating that he had been awaiting her departure. Other marketgoers milled about as we waited a while longer. The man addressed her, congratulating her on her hard work throughout the morning. But Niimatu, as she was called, vehemently denied being tired, insisting she could continue. The man chuckled, likening her to a hero.

Niimatu, however, furrowed her brow, questioning whether she truly resembled a hero. He reassured her, encouraging her to keep jumping, affirming her heroic status.

Suddenly, amidst the bustle, Umma emerged with joy, prompting Niimatu to hurry over and embrace her. Umma beamed at her, teasing her about her maturity. Niimatu, still beaming, responded, asserting that as long as Umma was around, she'd forever be her little girl, even if she had a hundred children.

After bathing and dining, they sat in the courtyard of their humble abode, devoid of concrete, its aging structure showing signs of wear and tear despite being built from bricks.

The man reached into his pocket, withdrew some money, and handed it to Umma, explaining it was what the Master had given. He then looked up, expressing gratitude for their well-being despite their challenges. The community chimed in, expressing similar sentiments and offering prayers for the man's well-being.

As Niimatu lay her head in Umma's lap, drifting off to sleep, Munshari playfully patted her back. As Munshari's mother rose to return to the room, Niimatu, still smiling, glanced at him. He teasingly remarked on her seemingly perpetual smile, prompting her to playfully question when she hadn't smiled. Encouraging her to rest, he emphasized the importance of rising early. Niimatu, asserting her heroism, agreed, and as he busied himself with chores, she drifted into slumber, knowing that if she followed her blessings, she'd sleep soundly.
